(May 3, 2023, 5:56 pm)Here for a 2 week business trip and sad to say I couldn't find this place sooner. Amazing atmosphere and felt like home. Ordered a platter of garlic parm salmon with 2 sides and an order of wings.
Hah, I would definitely say I was surprised the chicken came off the bone on those wings, and platter was breath-taking.
I will definitely try to come again to get a chance on that dessert since they sold out before the end of my trip -

Salmon, collard greens, Mac and cheese , cat fish, green beans, cabbage , oh and don’t skip the carrot cake! Truly magical place with a beautiful spirit. I live in NYC and will happily drive out to New Jersey just to come here! I can’t wait to go back!! -

(July 30, 2022, 5:09 pm)Everything I’ve had so far has been absolutely delicious, so good in fact that I went 2 days in a row to try more things on the menu. Super clean, can smell the seasoning as soon as you walk in the door, and the service was amazing too. Order anything, you won’t be disappointed.

It is a family ran business and the owner and his children were very "crazy"( in a good way). The food was finger licking good and I will be back sooner than later.

(July 2, 2022, 9:52 pm)My first time here, and I really enjoyed it! This gave me real soul food vibes like I was back in the South! I tried the whiting platter with the Mac and cheese and green beans. The fish was cooked exactly the way that I love it, firm but not overcooked! The Mac and cheese was made with a great homemade cheese sauce, and it wasn't over the top like some soul food restaurant offerings. The green beans were well seasoned and full of garlic. Again, it was just the way that I love them! Also, I tried the wings with the homemade garlic parmesan sauce, and they were worth the drive alone! I highly recommend this food for those who love soul food the way that I do, and I'll definitely visit again when I'm in the area!!
