  Great spot for no frills but REAL good cooking. Get the combo platter with all the meats for $25, comes with very moist cornbread, you won’t be disappointed. Nice casual bench seating in the back, my man is a pit master!

  The ribs here are probably the best you can have anywhere because objectively, you won’t be able to make them any better. Smoky flavor from the wood fire, fall off the bone texture, crisp on the outside yet melting soft on the inside, coupled with a really sweet spicy homemade sauce- that’s a winning combination anywhere in the world.
  
  Chicken leg was good, likewise. I will add to this review after i try all the sides. Promising menu for sure.

  Great food at a great price. Got the chicken dinner which Mr. Rodgers recommended himself. Loved it and will keep coming back for more

  This place is delicious! I got the ribs and they were awesome. I am definitely coming back soon to try all the different options on the menu

  Me and my husband went for some authentic souls food, at Rodgers we got just that. We got combo meal with ribs, chicken, and pulled pork with 2 sides & cornbread. The price was decent and the serving was more than enough. Great flavors, I got mild sauce and my husband ordered hot sauce and he was satisfied with the spices! The mac and cheese was covered with hot sauce and I was unable to enjoy the flavor maybe next time. Corn bread was great flavor and texture. Well done Rodger!!! I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. I'll be coming back to taste that fish.

Once I arrived I was given samples of the flavorful Spanish rice, very cheese mac and cheese very and the baked beans that were good and sweet. We ordered the St Louis bbq and white meat chicken along with the Spanish rice the baked beans, mac and cheese with corn bread .
