  Eklund Garden itself is overgrown. I was at parking area down the street at Nells Rock proper. Wonderful short trail that connects to network of longer ones. Wooded swamp and second-growth habitat, a bit overused at times. Hopefully quad riders aren't still using it. Historic area, supposedly a curved wall built by Indians is still on rock ridge on your right when entering. Lots of wildlife. Right now be prepared for lots of biting insects.

  The native plants have labels. It's wonderful to learn to identify them and watch them grow and change through the seasons.

  Small native plants garden that is so peaceful and quiet I never wanted to leave!!!

  The garden is filled with flowers and butterflies it's a little late in the season for them now but it is beautiful in there with the flowers
