(September 16, 2020, 6:33 pm)I attended the funeral of our families dear friend, Diane Raheb. Diane specifically has wishes to how her funeral was to occur. The owners and staff of O’Shea accommodated and went above her wishes. I myself am a funeral director and own multiple locations on Long Island. I understand how difficult this profession can be and the toll it takes. The entire staff was warm, compassionate and understanding of everyone’s needs. The flow of guests thru the funeral home during Covid was well thought and practical. The facility was immaculately clean and decorated. Thank you O’Shea Funeral Home for treating people like your own family. You are all a class act

(July 31, 2018, 12:49 pm)My husband Robert passed away the morning of June 28th. We went to O'Shea' s that afternoon. Sean gently guided our family through all the arrangements with support but no pressure.
Family and friends came from eleven states to pay tribute to a wonderful man and the staff at O'Shea' s met all our needs. They arranged for my husband, a veteran, to be interned in Calverton National Cemetery. Their attention to details made the process seamless and freed us to mourn our loss.
Their fees were very fair compared to competitors and their service outstanding -

(August 9, 2016, 9:44 pm)I recently had a very positive experience with this O'Shea Funeral Home. While my dad had grown up on L.I., he was in a nursing home facility in N.C. It was his wish to be buried with his parents in our family plot. Nearly two years ago, I contacted the funeral director at this facility to pre-pay the expenses for my dad's arrangements. When it became evident that the end was near, I contacted the funeral director and he made sure the necessary arrangements were in place when the end came. At that point, it just took a phone call to put the plan in motion and dad's pickup took place promptly. In that I was in N.C., they worked with me on being able to have the services a week later. The staff I worked with were very professional and did an outstanding job preparing dad, setting up the room for the viewing, coordinating services with the church, and arranging for a military honor guard at the cemetery. Their support was much appreciated during a very sad point in time.
