  I had a great experience selling my car at Carmax. The entire process was very smooth. It took me about an hour to walk-in with my car that I wanted to sell (went with an appointment and online offer), get it appraised, get all documentation done, and get paid for it. We got the exact same value for the car that we got through the online offer. I really loved how hassle free CarMax made the whole selling process.

  I cannot say enough how much I appreciate the customer service at this place. They don’t work on commission yet they work like they do. Friendly and accommodating staff. I worked with Mark the most, outstanding guy, but everyone else I encountered was also fantastic. If they don’t have something on the lot you like, they’ll be happy to bring something from a different location for you.

  Trying carmax for the first time . Was trying to sell my Honda civic . Actually the online rates with carmax was few hundred $ better than caravana or vroom. Once we do the online quote , you can schedule an appointment and take the car to the carmax location , for them to visually inspect your vehicle . After visual inspection, they give you a final appraisal offer : ours was the same price as the online quote . Very very good way to buy and all cars - with carmax ..
  
  I was amazed with their office and the number of staffs they had . The only issue I had was - I had an appointment to appraise my car . Had to wait 30-45 mins even though we had appointments scheduled . After appraisal , they gave a quote and we had to bring our original titles from home . We came back in 30 mins but they put us on walk in appointment again which took about 1-1.30 hours ! After waiting for 1.30 hrs they asked us for another document . Ahhh.. hope they can better this process . Like dmv, they should have an employee or receptionist check the docs and not wait unnecessarily for 90 mins ! If the process of selling improves, I’ll surely give them 6/5 stars … still a good experience overall …

  Sold a vehicle here. I requested an appraisal on line and thought it was a good offer. Went in person and it was appraised again by Victor and that price was honored. Your appraisal offer is valid for 1 week. I went back 6 days later to sell the vehicle. Every associate there is friendly. I didn’t have to wait despite not having an appointment and they were busy. Was greeted upon arrival with a smile . I was dreading the process in general and it was seamless!

  I had a wonderful experience. The sales associate victor made my experience the best. We were one the phone the 1st time for almost 2 hours looking for cars that was good to my budget. We found something and I made it my goal to get what I wanted. The day of my appointment 2 weeks later, victor called me at 8am and he 1st apologized for waking me up. He didn't, I was already up just waiting. We were on the phone again for another 2 hours doing the final processing. We made it fun and smooth and alot of laughter as well. Once the process was complete. Once I got there we did the final touches and boom, I left carmax a happy man and was definitely well worth it.
