  Since visiting house requires appointment I have explored the grounds around the house. Brochures at the entrance are indeed quite informative with points of interest, also printed trail maps were available. Venturing into the woods required mosquito repellent which is kind of expected.

  Beautiful place, but there doesn't appear to be access to a restroom unless perhaps if you are on a tour. Would definitely return if I revisit the Berkshires.

  Thank you Erin for the wonderful tour! This is a remarkable home, and beautifully presented. You can see the care everywhere, inside and out, and the grounds are spectacular.

  This place is very scenic and the interactive trails were very informative. Trails were well marked. Unfortunately, the reservation for the house tour was booked even though I called almost a week in advance!
