  Beautiful property. Cool house. Great walks in nature and around the property. Lots of stairs blocking any clear paths around so not particularly stroller or wheel chair friendly. Inside the house they had some very cool rooms, especially the views of the closets!

  Spectacular property with newly restored gardens and a wonderful view. The house is very interesting, with the original contents, somewhat grand but also welcoming. This property is clearly very well loved and maintained by the Trustees. I would love to return for another visit just to enjoy the gardens, maybe with a picnic next time.

  Beautiful mansion and gorgeous grounds with expansive views of Berkshires. Well worth the time and admission fee. The stuff is pretty good at managing modest size parking lot usage.

  As far as landscape architecture goes, Naumkeag is a joy! It was so thoughtfully and creatively cultivated to truly enhance the beauty that nature had unfolded on this property. Its wonderful to explore and has many beautiful opportunities for photo ops. The house is self guided and ecclectic. A strong Asian influence in decor and art. Interesting events throughout the year. Food at the cafe was delicious!

  The Backstairs tour was interesting and informative from the servants' perspective. Our guide answered questions willingly and with humor. The website doesn't say so, and I was previously discouraged, because it appeared only the grounds were included with the $30 ticket, however, we were allowed to roam the house and look at the resident's side after the tour, and tske abstract of guide led garden tours. We left through the Cafe and saw high tea was full swing. It was tempting enough to come back again just for this.
