I have used Avetalive to help with billing and other items in my practice for over a year now and would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of support int heir practice. They are timely in their responses and completion of items, produce and maintain analytical and really insightful reports each month, and have generated some great systems to better streamline much of the work I have to complete in my practice. If you are looking to grow you practice in this domain, I strongly recommend contacting them!
It is a daunting task to secure payment from insurers for medical clinicians in 2023, and will likely will be more so in 2024. Despite the roadblocks, this company has gone to every length to perform it's services to me.
Being less experienced than some clinicians in the use of computer programs, I struggled to get up to speed to do my part. It would be much easier for those more experienced with computers.
I have a suggestion that might make liftoff more smooth:
A written, detailed explanation of the entire process to be performed, start to finish, given to the client at the outset, perhaps a manual which the client could consult as they were becoming acquainted with the process, detailing what both parties would do. This would be less necessary for the computer-savvy client.
My experience has been that all staff in this company have conscientious, pleasant, patient and willing to go the extra mile.
Avetalive is an excellent billing company for ophthalmology. All questions are addressed and responded to in a timely manner. Very easy to contact the President of the company if any questions or concerns. Highly recommend.
I am very happy working with Avetalive. There is excellent customer service and if I email or call with a question, someone always gets back to me promptly My insurance claims are submitted very quickly which allows me to get reimbursed as soon as possible. I have only had positive experiences.
About 3 years ago, my biller of almost 3 decades experienced a debilitating illness and was unable to work any longer. I scrambled to find a new billing service and interviewed a number of the large medical billers found in internet searches. As a solo practitioner I felt that they were not only impersonal, but they seemed more interested in fitting my practice into their model rather than tailoring their services to my needs. When I searched for "medical billers near me", a company called Avetalive popped up. I called them and set up a meeting with the companies founder, Chandresh Shah. He turned out to be an extremely personable, easy going man who is a great listener and as a consequence, he knows what questions to ask. The meeting was all about what I was used to and familiar with and ultimately, how he can help me to bill efficiently.
Despite billing a modest number of charges each week, Chandresh's fees were lower than what the large firms were demanding. In addition to the billing, Avetalive provides me with spreadsheets that gives me data on charges, collections and denials as well as copays owed. Avetalive also provides a number of other services though I can't comment on them at this time.
I am completely happy with Avetalive and Mr. Shah. He is a pleasure to work with, is always available and always ready to meet whatever business need that I might have. If you prefer having a personal relationship with the provider of your billing and office management services, you can not go wrong with Avetalive.
