  Went disc golfing and was a very nice place to play for different experiences. Some of the areas could be more maintained and it was very easy to give up finding lost disks due to pricker bushes. While playing we saw lots of wild animals like deer and rabbits. When walking back to the car we checked out the zoo area and there were very nice workers there that assisted us when needed. We brought a picnic lunch and the picnic tables as well as the trash cans were very nice and satisfied our needs entirely. We will have to come again to go to all the other parts we missed.

  Amazing botanical gardens collection as well as multiple picnic areas, picturesque view of downtown of Hartford and aviary with nature center. It is well-worth modest parking fee. In my view, this park may be best botanical garden in CT (beating Bartlett and New London CT college arboretum).

  Beautiful park , well situated from the highway on I-84E/ W exit towards Tolland/ Middle Turnpike.
  Scenic and beautiful spots within the park for various pre photoshoot events. There are also different areas for hosting the wedding eventa.
  Overall the park is well maintained and worth the time with your family.
  
  There is an aviary with different types of species of birds that will engage your little ones. There are numerous picnic spots, softball play area, tennis court, fit trail and child play area which will give you many reasons to visit the park

  This is my favorite botanical park in Central Connecticut and it's 30 mins away. It's also safe place to be with Park rangers circling the park every 30 minutes to 1 hour. It's been a favorite mines for 20 years. When I need to escape for a few hours during the warmer months to relax, this is my sanctuary.
