(July 29, 2023, 11:00 am)It's already difficult for me to be motivated to take a darn walk, so I decided to return to Union Pond, where I used to walk around the path and find solace. Now, there's too much duck, geese, or worse dog caca all over the walking path areas. I know... I know, but it's so annoying, disrespectful, disgusting, and distracting to me. I'm sorry I missed my window of opportunity for when Union Pond was once a delightful, peaceful, scenic little escape for a few hours of simple daily contemplative enjoyment. I personally doubt that anyone, sane, uses the picnic areas anymore.
People still fish, I guess that's a plus. I don't know if it's catch and release or if the fish are edible. No matter, I'm glad there are some people still finding pleasure around Union Pond.
