  I was nervous to begin piano lessons as an adult but Tyler has made the process easy and enjoyable! Learning to play at my own pace with Tyler’s guidance has become my favorite part of the week. I would highly recommend lessons with Tyler for children and adults. If you’re lucky you might even get to meet his dog Toby. (Who still gives beginning players tail wags even if they make a few mistakes.)

  We were introduced to Tyler through a friend and could not be happier with our experience thus far with piano lessons for our 6 year old. He recommended the appropriate training materials, is extremely patient and encouraging. He offers plenty of tips and updates to us parents to let us know how our child is progressing and where we may need to help when practicing at home. I cannot recommend him enough if you are looking for a talented, experienced music teacher!

  Our (then) 5.5 year old started remote lessons with Tyler in mid-2020, and it’s been a wonderful experience for our daughter. Tyler is extremely patient and supportive and our daughter feels very comfortable asking questions and working things through with Tyler in order to understand. She’s progressed rapidly over the year she’s been learning with Tyler and we’ve enjoyed the zoom recitals where relatives and friends from far away could join and listen. Tyler came highly recommended as a teacher for younger children and it’s been clear through our time with him as to why. We’re looking forward to starting another semester!

  We are so grateful to have found Tyler a couple of months into the pandemic. Truthfully, we weren't sure how remote piano lessons would work, but it has been a fantastic experience for my 7 year old son; so much so, that he has declared music as his passion and has even started learning a second instrument. Tyler's supportive and encouraging style comes through in the virtual lessons and I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a piano teacher. We've been so pleased that we even recently signed up our our 5 year old for lessons as well.

  My son has had an incredible experience with Tyler. He is so knowledgeable and patient and has a great way with children. In just 2 years, my son’s piano playing improved tremendously. I highly recommend Tyler to any family!
