(June 13, 2023, 11:48 am)It's a nice place to hike. There are a few trails you can hike on. Don't forget to enter the visitors center. There are restrooms and a small museum. They also have a store. Leave your pets and bicycles behind, as you can not take them on the trail.

(September 25, 2022, 11:38 am)Beautiful preserve for walks. Paths are wide and mostly flat. Saw wild turkey and other wildlife. I'm sure if I go often I'll run across deer since there's hunting allowed at specified times of the year. Strictly controlled by DEC so numbers are kept in check. Great place.

(May 12, 2021, 9:24 pm)A large park with two sets of trails going to different sides of the river. There is a large visitor center (unfortunately still closed as of May 2021 due to COVID) and public portable toilets are available outside the visitor center. The signs and trails are well-maintained despite the reduction in staffing levels.
