  Beautiful, tranquil, and lovely. I am a new york city girl who needed to get away. Walden on the Pond meet all my expectations and more. I felt like I was taken back in time. I was a victorain lady of leisure for a week.
  The main inn and the cottage was decorated lovely. Everywhere I looked was pure eye candy.
  My daughter's came down with me, when it was time for them to leave they were already making plans to return.
  I spent 4 days relaxing, painting, sipping tea, sipping wine, and enjoying some much needed alone time. The best thing I was able to bring my fur baby.
  
  The owner was a living doll, she made you feel at home. We never did have our glass of wine.
  No worries, God willing, I will be back.
  
  If you are considering this oasis for a get away, stop wasting time and book it. Tell them LadyPam sent ya.

  Just love this Inn!
  We had a great time and it was very clean and charming. The location was just magnificent and a great getaway from the City. We will be back soon and want to say Thank you for a wonderful Vacation!

  Our stay here was amazing. The hotel is very nice and charming. However we had initial inconvenient with the day we wanted to check out but Booking fixed it. Also the breakfast was tasty but they did not offer many options.

  Walden was the most stress free place I ever stayed at. Roona, the owner was so sweet and accommodating. She is also beautiful!. Laura, the housekeeper was very nice and did her job well. The back yard overlooking the pond was simply breathtaking.
  Now, the only reason I gave it 4 stars, (not 5) was that the place could use a bit tweaking at the hands of a good handyman...the doorknobs were falling out, doors didn't close and stay shut (ours squeaked loudly), the curtain rod fell out of the wall when we tried to slide them over, and most importantly, the lighting could have been brighter. I couldn't read in bed and had trouble getting ready to go out. If you're o.k. with these minor defects, your stay will be an awesome one!!
