(June 19, 2023, 8:28 am)We stayed at the Ocean House for a beach weekend in Spring Lake and loved it. It’s so charming and homey, and just a short walk from the beach. They had beach chairs, towels and umbrellas for guests to borrow, as well as bicycles. We used the hotel’s beach badges for an extra fee during our stay. They even let us use their beach badges, chairs and facilities for the rest of the day after checkout. We also enjoyed breakfast and agreed it was so much better than what we’ve had at chain hotels. Every day, they put out a menu for guests to submit their orders for the next morning. We also loved relaxing on the porch, and they brought our breakfast out to us. We were worried about parking since their lot is so small, but it ended up not being an issue. When the lot filled up, we were able to park on Ocean Avenue by the beach for free since the town doesn’t allow overnight parking elsewhere. We also appreciated the kind staff. It’s a great place if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing time. We will definitely come back in the future. ☀️

(February 4, 2023, 4:12 pm)My husband and I got married in Spring Lake and we rented out the entire Ocean House for our wedding party and guests -- it was perfect! Jared and his family are great. They made it super easy to book a room block with them and provided a link so that guests could book directly through them. We were also able to work with Jared to host a brunch the morning after our wedding. It's the perfect location too -- if you're looking for a weekend away, or need a hotel block for your wedding, we HIGHLY recommend the Ocean House!

The staff was very attentive and they offered use of the facilities even after checkout (outdoor shower after going to the beach, e.g.). They have bikes, chairs, and towels for use so we didn’t have to travel with much. The room was nice and clean. The porch is fantastic and they provide blankets if it’s too cool. We were only there 2 nights so we only had breakfast twice, but it was good. Overall it was a great stay. We go to Spring Lake yearly and Ocean House is now our new go-to spot.
