Our First Ambulance, the "Green Bomb.". A 1952 Cadillac weighing 6800 pounds. On July 23rd, 1961 at 6:00 am, the Valhalla VAC began operating and received three calls on their first day of service. With 23 members, the Corps provided service to approximately 1500 families and was available at no charge 24 hours a day.
