Supportive atmosphere from the coaches and the students! Great instruction by lead instructor Ray Lucas. Practical self defense that anyone, of any age or physical ability, can learn and benefit from. Classes focus on both technique, fitness and fun!
I couldn't ask for better instruction or learning environment than Trinity Martial Arts & Krav Maga.
Everything is very practical, easy to implement, and brutally effective. Krav Maga is the ultimate in fight science and self defense; there's a little bit of everything. From ground fighting, to stand up striking and kicking, to gun and knife defense, Trinity has it all.
In addition, Trinity has an excellent training environment. The people are very friendly and knowledgeable, and they make classes that much more enjoyable. I look forward to coming back soon.
As someone who is older, not in great shape, has not done any sort of self defense or martial arts, I have surprised myself with what I am able to do and the confidence I have after just a few months instruction with Ray.
Students work within their level of fitness and within any physical limitations so my age and shape hasn't been an issue. Class size has varied with as few as 2 and as many as 10. Students have been a mix of men and women with ages as young as older teens (with a parent) to some in their mid 60s.
I had feared that my irregular schedule with lots of work travel would be a issue but it hasn't. I make what classes fit into my schedule and with a mix of experience level I just pick up with whatever we are doing that day.
What I have liked about Krav Maga is that it is very practical self defense system. It gives one very practical and easy to use techniques in that will get one effective quickly rather than after years of study.
The Krav Maga classes are for self defense. It isn't a class that is training one to take part in a MMA match. Nor is it a fitness class, but it will get your blood flowing and get some unused muscles working.
Great self defense training with emphasis on developing your skills in kick boxing and judo as needed for Krav Maga. What makes this school special is that Kali knife fighting and active shooter training are also incorporated along with the instructor's law enforcement real world knowledge. Ray is a very patient instructor who always maintains safety on the mat. Definitely a great place for both beginners and experienced fighters.
Great Krav Maga class! The self-defense techniques are realistic and easy to learn. Ray is an excellent instructor, and gives personal attention to each student. Truly empowering! I look forward to each class!
