(July 23, 2023, 8:30 pm)I have lived here for 8 years, as the President of residents council and very happily. I am very grateful for the support and care that I receive on a daily basis. I have to reside in my wheelchair due to several surgeries and the inability to walk by myself. My goal is to get healthy and therefore build myself up to my full potential. I have become very attached to a plethora of the residents, and staff. I miss my friends and family on the outside, but I am fortunate enough that they do come to visit me. And, I consider the people here to be my adopted family.
I also miss my years of teaching undergrad and graduate school in Boston. I’m very fortunate that, I still have my in depth acquaintances from my professional days. Teaching is ever so rewarding. I share my passion for education to the residents and staff here. I also have been teaching them High School French, with adoration and pleasure. It’s imperative to make life fun for everyone. We all need a laugh and to make everything lighter, while we contend with the complexities of our health. I’m proud to be a resident of Touchpoints, with the phenomenal success I am having emotionally and physically. I have surpassed all expectations for myself, with the positive affirmations from all involved. I am actually surprised with my progress over the years.

(October 7, 2022, 6:53 pm)Spent 21 days there after my surgery @ Hartford Hospital. Very helpful & concerned staff at Touchpoints of Manchester. The food was really good, which is necessary for a good recovery.

I’m also grateful that they keep me informed as to any ( even subtle) changes in his overall well being!
I would also highly recommend your facility to anyone inquiring a safe and secure environment for their loved on to reside in. A special thanks to Rhoda( I don’t know her last name) for she has been a tremendous help to my brother and myself. If there is an issue, she will resolve it in a timely fashion. My brother is very fond of her and so am I. Thank you!
