  Of the last year I have been studying here at The Philadelphia Acting Studio, our mentor and acting coach Bernard has truly done wonderful things for my classmates and I. I signed up for his free trial class just a little over a year ago without having any prior experiences, but I was eager to see what I could do. I always felt like I was a creative person but I never had the confidence to show it and was a very reserved person growing up. After we began our in person sessions, I feel as if I have changed as a person entirely for the better. I am more confident in the way I speak, the way I present myself, but also feel much more confident with my acting skills compared to day one. I still have work to do and that work will never stop in order to achieve my dreams, but Bernard helped elevate me to the point where I feel confident enough to go after my dreams. Bernard is a fantastic mentor that has taught us plenty of different techniques so that we can all find what works best for us, helps us improve our auditioning skills, and critiquing our scene work to make it the best that we can possibly have it. The thing I value most about Bernard is that he is very personable and actually cares about us as people. Yes, this is his job and he takes it very serious. However, he likes to get to know us on a personal level and it makes everything so much more enjoyable for myself and others. I highly recommend starting here at this studio if you have plans of acting.

  Ive studied at The Philadelphia Acting Studio for 2 years and I would like to personally say Bernard Glincosky is one of the best instructors when it comes to those of you who want to become hardworking successful actors and actresses. Do not join the class looking for a handout though… GET READY TO PUT IN THE WORK!! In his class you are going to learn what it takes to become a professional in this business. I joined not knowing much about acting and then BOOM 6 months later I’m working on a set! This man has a ton of experience along with excellent knowledge about the industry. Studying with him is not a slow ride he is going to pin point where your at and get you to where you need to be in order to fulfill these dreams YOU HAVE of wanting to become a ⭐️. I would like to inform everyone it’s a journey and getting better doesn’t happen over night..understand that you have to be patient with yourself and you 100% have to be COACHABLE. Don’t worry though he is going to get your mindset right and guide you on this journey. Studying with Bernard is going to change your outlook on acting and if you really have this passion you say you do, your going to fall in love with doing the work. You will learn fast that being an actor isn’t some fantasy dream the nay-sayers talk about and at the end of the day this is a career job.. so if your 100% motivated and serious about acting and want to make it far in Hollywood, I highly recommend you study with Bernard Glincosky. If you show him how hungry you are to become the star you want to be I promise you he will get you there! It's as simple as you give your best performance in class and he sees such great potential and then next thing you know your signing with an agency! He has a ton of great connections. Bernard has a vision for every single one of his students and he will work with everyone hands on because he truly cares and wants to see everyone succeed🙌🏻

  Coming from no acting experience or knowledge whatsoever, I joined Bernard's class back in July of 2022. I was hesitant on joining, not knowing if it would be a good fit for me. I took the trial class online and it interested me enough to sign up for the classes. At the time it was only through Zoom due to COVID, but we eventually were able to do in-person classes. Bernard's class helped me get out of my shell and showed me that I am capable of performing higher than my expected potential. From meeting kind-hearted classmates on a similar journey as mine, to working on different sets and understanding the prospective from other actors along with the film crew, I was able to gain knowledge I never had before. Here you'll learn how to get into the mindset of being a committed actor, mentally and physically; practicing to control your thoughts and working on performances, whether it be through a self-tape, in person, with a scene partner, with or without a script in hand. Bernard will help you take each step you need to keep you on track. Now if you're wondering if this class is for you, I would say that if you are willing to put in the work, push your ego to the side, can take on critique, and can be vulnerable and open to what the acting career may have in store for you, then you are at the right place. You'll evolve as an actor and a human being, joining probably the best opportunistic acting class in the Philadelphia area. This is you investing your time, money, and effort into something that can potentially take you to a whole other level. I'm glad I joined the class and don't have a single regret doing so!   Bernard has truly been a transformative influence in my life! During my lowest point, his guidance, mindfulness practices, daily life insights, and innovative acting techniques provided me with life-changing support. His commitment to evolving his teaching methods, rather than relying on old routines, is commendable. Bernard equipped me with the necessary skills and acting techniques to get me on paid sets. As I pursue full-time studies at the Lee Strasberg Institute in NYC, the lessons I learned from him continue to shape my craft. He helps you bring out your authentic self – a cornerstone of exceptional acting. Joining the Philadelphia Acting Studio has been a decision I'll forever cherish. His influence on my journey is immeasurable, and I'm happy to have Bernard as a part of it. Without doubt, I encourage aspiring actors and industry professionals to collaborate with Bernard; his mentorship will for sure help shape you into the finest version of yourself!

  The Philadelphia Acting Studio is great. The classes are so beneficial and not only tremendously improve your acting skills, but also improves other valuable life skills as well (business, mindset, public speaking, confidence). Bernard is very helpful and knows how to run the program correctly.
