As a Virginian visiting LI, a trip to LI isint complete without having at least one Long Island Iced Tea and the one at The Oar always hits right. For appetizers, the baked clams and fried calamari was absolutely delicious. Each one of our seafood entrees were fresh and full of flavor. And the service is always excellent.
A perfect waterfront restaurant for drinks and seafood! -

(June 25, 2023, 10:12 am)Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our waiter was attentive. The atmosphere is great, right on the water. Open, light. Two critiques: I needed a new glass because it was dirty. The food was decent, sauce was a little watery but good. Dessert was delicious, better than the entree. I’d go back and try something different maybe for lunch instead of dinner.

(June 21, 2023, 1:23 pm)Best of everything! Fantastic location. Came here on a Friday around 7 to celebrate daughters college graduation. The food was unbelievably amazing, drinks were on point! Scenery, breathtaking service FIVE STARS!! I’ll definitely be coming back again.

(June 5, 2023, 1:29 pm)Beautiful atmosphere, it's not quite summer yet so it was too breezy to eat outside so I ate at their very nice bar. Even inside you feel like you're outside. Baked clams to start, lots of clam and other yummy things in those, excellent. Soft shell crab avocado sandwich was the bomb, plenty of avocado and crab, see picture. Oar fries were so good I took what I didn't finish home so my kids could try them.
