Colleen DiGioia licensed clinical social worker has been very helpful in my professional working career. She helped me in regard to crafting a text message to a public figure Indian American woman. I met the public figure Indian American woman at her event. She gave me her private cell number through Colleen's guidance in the talk therapy sessions that I had with her. She understands the Indian culture very well and the upbringings of Indian American women being born and raised in the United States of America. Also, I would recommend anyone to work with Colleen if you are reporting to a female supervisor in the workplace. I've had talk therapy sessions with her the last two years. At an early age, I have been professionally diagnosed having a learning disability. A lot of changes have happened to me in my life. Colleen has taught me new skills on how to communicate with an Indian American woman through text messaging. She cares about everyone of her clients succeeding. It's amazing to have real changes in my life in regard to building relationship skills with Indian American women. I'm lucky to have talk therapy sessions with Colleen every week.
I have been a clinical therapist/LCSW for close to 30 years, and have always focused my life's purpose on caring for others. There is a saying that "all therapists need their own therapist" and I've only recently become more transparent with my own "story" of complex and multi-dimensional trauma, and my history of abuse, neglect, depression, anxiety and acute PTSD. During the beginning of the pandemic, I found myself in the midst of a severe depression (probably the worst I can remember in my life) and although I have had traditional forms of therapy for myself for over 40 years, I found myself in a place I had never experienced before. After a year of paralyzing depression and anxiety I knew I needed help to address the trauma that was causing me to be highly reactive and unwell; the depression that was preventing me from being present as a mother and a wife, sister, daughter, therapist and friend.
I discovered The Neurovation Center through Psychology Today, online, and felt I was in severe despair. The response I received from the center, and my desire to work specifically with Dr. Diana Mille, was literally instantaneous; as if Divinely orchestrated. I was literally able to begin Trauma Therapy and EMDR with a focus on Internal Family Systems, the next day. I was seen, heard, validated and treated with great respect and kindness. I was able to begin to heal decades of pain and suffering.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Neurovation Center and my experiences thus far. The staff is wonderful, warm, caring and have always communicated with me effectively regarding appointments. Jason's voice is one of the most soothing voices I have ever heard on the other end of a telephone line, and Wendy is simply lovely, and helpful and kind. My experience with the team and my healing journey with Dr. Mille, has transformed my life and I am so grateful.
There is nothing simple about EMDR therapy, but I have reprocessed decades of trauma that I've carried around with me in all of my relationships, and although I still have work to do, I am in a much better headspace, and my relationships are improving. I'm well on my way to being the best version of myself. I wouldn't be able to express of all this, if it weren't for the entire program and team, especially Dr. Mille, at The Neurovation Center.
The Neurovation Center has absolutely changed my life for the better. I have been regularly seeing Dr. Diana Mille and receiving both neurofeedback and EMDR. The chronic issues I was having have stabilized and my life is significantly more manageable. Everyone I have encountered at this facility has been nothing short of fantastic. Every single person from the owner Jeff Schutz to the technicians to the lovely people in the front office have been compassionate, supportive and kind. I know they are all rooting for my success and doing everything in their power to help me reach the goals I have on my path to wellness.
The Neurovation Center has truly been a mental and psychological life saver. Having utilized both experiences of Neurofeedback and EMDR counseling has deeply enriched my life. The state of the art facility and the level of professionalism from your staff (both Neuro and Counseling) and friendliness is reflective of Neurovation Center quality of care. Thank you Jeff and Diana for this wonderful safe space to reprocess present and past life trauma!
Two years ago I was an emotional mess. My past relationships with family and past love life I was deep in depression A friend suggested the Neurovation Center. After a few weeks of procrastination I finally gave in and decided to make the call and make an appointment. I went in expecting not that much more than the standard therapy sessions. To my surprise my life has changed in so many positive ways that I now feel the best I have ever ever felt. I now have Rich, fulfilling relationships and I see the world in an entire different light. I have to thank Dr. Mille who is substantial in guiding me through these past years to incredible growth and awareness and has helped me become a peaceful whole Human being again.
If it wasn’t for the Neurovation Center and their EMDR practice it would’ve been a dim outcome for me back then.
I would like to thank each and everyone of those at the neurovation Center in Newtown for helping me come such a long way and develop into the happy person I so longed to be.
Dr. Mille is an extremely talented therapist and possesses a kindness that is rare among most people.
If you have never felt success in the past therapy, I strongly suggest giving the Neurovation Center a try you will not be disappointed.
