  Both of my parents live at The Meadows at Shannondell and we couldn't be more pleased with the services provided by the staff. My Dad was transferred there from Rehab at Shannondell and that transition couldn't have been more smooth. We were involved throughout and everyone made him feel special when he arrived.
  
  My Mom's admission was also very well done and we have found the nursing, dining, housekeeping, therapy and activities staff to be very caring and compassionate. My parents are picky eaters and they love the food.

  My mom moved into the Meadows about two years ago from the independent living section of Shannondell. She was starting to have issues with mental capacity and repeated falls. She's now 91 and is as happy and safe (no more falls like used to happen) as I have ever seen her. She is taken care of extremely well. They administer her medications and meal times perfectly. So many of the problems my mom was having living independently have literally gone away with the professional care she is getting. The food and coffee is so good I would go over to eat with her! They have management staff that can be easily reached and they are very responsive to any question or need we have. They have kept the residents safe better than most assisted living operations in the whole state of PA during the covid situation! I highly recommend The Meadows at Shannondell to care for your loved ones.

  My mother has lived at the Meadows at Shannondell for about 2 years. Pre-COVID it was a safe well run and comfortable home setting for mom with a comprehensive suite of services provided by a deeply caring staff. During COVID the Meadows really differentiated their quality care. They had an exceptional safety program that resulted in one of the best record of care through the pandemic! 100% of staff and residents were tested every week multiple times and the very low number of cases that did happen were VERY well managed. Finally they were one of the very first places to get 100% resident vaccination completed. The staff is terrific and the leadership is tireless and gifted. Such a safe and comfortable place.
