  I was admitted 5/16/2023, at 1:05 am, due to the lack of ambulances. I was seen later that morning by the Charge RN, who introduced herself and already had my medications, that I usually take in the morning. The room was spotless. due to the thorough cleaning the house did daily. they were very personable. your aids were very thorough in asking if I had any needs and were very quick to respond to them. I think I may have been labeled the "ice man", due to my constant need for ice, to mix with my ice tea that my wife bought from home. they were very quick to respond to my ice needs, which may seem a minor thing to you, but was very important to me. They also were very thorough in making my bed during the day and getting me extra pillows to prop my legs up. they would always ask if I needed anything as they passed by, during the day and night. The nurses were very thorough with my meds. and would often ask if I needed anything for pain. They seemed to be very knowledgeable at treating pelvic fractures and the pain associated with them. one day one of the nurses came in and noticed that may legs were swollen and ordered me TED stockings. I apologize for not remembering specific names, which seems to get worse, the older I get. Your meals were outstanding. The woman, in charge of the daily menu, would call me or sometimes stop in to go over the future menus and make sure I was happy with the daily meals; a personal touch, that was greatly appreciated. Your rehab. staff were extremely knowledgeable, personable and professional. I was usually split between Kim and Jim, who treated me like I was a family. They were very careful not to push me past my pain limits. When I started with them, I was unable to push my left foot forward without severe pain. When I was discharged I was able to walk at a good pace, with my walker, with minimal pain. With everything considered, I would HIGHLY recommend Shannondell for post injury rehabilitation.   Shannondell is the only rehab we will chose for our mom. She is 91 and needed some rehab from a fall. She was there for three weeks and the staff at Shannondell did an outstanding job. If she ever needs this type of care again, it is the only place we will send her. Communication with all departments was great. No question goes unanswered. Nursing and support staff were wonderful to mom on a daily basis. We really appreciated that one of the staff even mentioned her mom was about the same age as our mom and she treated her the way she wanted her own mom treated (with love, care, respect, and dignity). Wonderful place!!! THank you!!!

  My husband stayed at Shannondell Rehab for several weeks and I can’t say enough good things about it. The people who work there are the most compassionate and helpful ever. I was just so grateful for everything they did for him while staying there.

  Both of my grandparents had the wonderful opportunity to receive rehabilitation services from the Rehab at Shannondell. The admission process from the hospital to Shannondell was flawless, the concierge at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. We had nothing but great things to say about the nursing staff and the way they cared for my loved ones. Nursing did a fabulous job with pain management, making sure to always ask what their pain level was at and adjusting their medications when necessary. My grandparents received both Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy once per day and their Therapy plan was well communicated in a manner they were able to understand. I was amazed to see each floor had a Therapy Gym, each equipped with machines and devices to get my grandparents strength back to return back to their home. I was very pleased to find out Rehab at Shannondell had an in-house Doctor with a full team of Nurse Practitioners under her. The Doctor and Nurse Practitioners were all extremely knowledgeable and made themselves available if I or my family had any questions. The Social Worker was very helpful in making the rehab process as seamless as possible keeping constant communication from admission to discharge, they also helped with ordering equipment and arranged for Home Health Care to visit post discharge for additional nursing and therapy services.
  
  My grandparents informed me the food from the kitchen was 5-stars, it looked just as good as it tasted. The portion sizes were ample and had the freedom to choose a different entrée for each meal. The inside of the facility is very well taken care of, the floors were spotless, and a housekeeper cleaned the room each day.
