  Holly is an incredibly thoughtful teacher with excellent cues, a clarity that is both inviting and encouraging, and a deep love for yoga as a means to healing. I am truly thankful for our restorative class today. I travel to yoga studios all around the world while I’m on tour. This has been one of my all-time favorites.

  I came to Iyengar Yoga after researching what it stood for. It’s a precise practice that asks of the practitioner to get the most of the pose and experience all that the pose will give back.
  Holly has been an inspiration to a beginner in Iyengar, She encourages me to seek the most out of each pose and to get the best of my practice and abilities. The lessons I have learned from Holly have resonated in my every day life and keep me aligned and balanced in a Yogic way, Her attention to detail and keen eye for flaws in pose and personal body idiosyncrasies are remarkable. From the moment I stepped into the studio, she was attentive and encouraging. She cares deeply about you, the yoga practitioner and person. I look forward to my growth in Yoga with Holly as my teacher .

  The level of clarity and integrity provided by Iyengar yoga teacher Holly Walk Kostura is outstanding. I am so grateful to her and the teachings she provides. I came in having practiced yoga for many years, yet with chronic low back issues, Holly's guidance has been astute; and with her discerning eye and skills to draw from, I have experienced major relief, gained immense strength, overcome the worst, and moved beyond my greatest expectations! She is very knowledgable in this grounded, and on the outset perceptually stern, classical lineage, and she brings a personal,: compassionate, generous, humorous, transparent and inclusive touch to her teachings. I am so very thankful for her and the Iyengar lineage.

  The deep care and dedication Holly puts into her classes, as well as her students, fosters such a beautiful community of yoga practitioners. Her students come from many walks of life and a variety of yoga backgrounds. Holly is inclusive, openminded, humble, and extraordinarily good at teaching. There is also a clarity in the way she speaks. Holly provides calm and steadfast guidance with compassion and little ambiguity. The care and attention she puts into her classes and students is a rare treasure. She encourages us all to strive to enjoy the full benefits that yoga has to offer. If you are considering beginning yoga practice with her, you should! I was a beginner when I began studying with Holly (about 2 years ago) and it has become an integral part of my life through practice, kindness, and patience.

  Holly is an excellent and attentive yoga teacher, as well as a teacher of teachers. Her dedication shows in her continuing education in the Iyengar yoga method, including regular trips around the country and to India to study with other senior teachers. Holly personally teaches nearly all of the classes she offers.
  
  For anyone new to yoga, or even seasoned students, I'd recommend Holly's classes as she stresses proper form and safety. While the classes are challenging, she ensures you understand the whats and the whys, and this knowledge can be a joint-saver when attending classes or workshops with less experienced teachers.
  
  Her classes also offer as much philosophy as you desire. While not required, Holly provides a traditional yoga class experience with many opportunities to dig deep into the ancient texts.
