  Where do I even begin…just don’t even question, hire any doula at The Growing Place!!! First time mom and this was (and continues to be) the support we needed through pregnancy and now postpartum. We took the yoga birth, breastfeeding and postpartum class so we got to meet other amazing doulas as well! All worth every investment.
  
  We worked with Gini & Jess through our birth doula experience and they were beyond incredible. Words can’t express our gratitude for helping us along the way.
  
  We’re now in postpartum and have worked with Jess and Krystle on assistance as needed as we transition to parenthood. Again, highly highly recommend wherever you are in your journey, these women are angels so don’t hesitate and reach out to them!

  I highly recommend Growing Place and their doula services for your labor and delivery. I worked with Ginny and Susie for childbirth classes and for the actual labor and delivery and phenomenal experience. Ginny and Susie prepped my husband, my aunt and me with the knowledge to be prepared for such a momentous occasion in life. I was lucky to have both Susie and Ginny guiding me via text while I was at home laboring and then helped us to confirm it was time to head to the hospital where Susie met us. I was so grateful to have her a part of my birth story. Her quiet presence was calming and she knew exactly what we needed and when (counter pressure, clary sage, and improved ways of pushing coordinating with hospital staff. She took fabulous notes and helped me process my birth story timeline after the fact. I also love the fact that they have two doulas on call for your labor. Great strategy to ensure a doula who is 100% present for you! You wont go wrong. I also have to add that they accommodated me after my original doula that i hired fell through at last minute. 😁😁😁

  Had the best experience taking classes with Gini! My husband and I learned so much about birth, birth yoga, and breastfeeding through her courses! Would recommend to any new mommas.

  Absolutely 100% recommend the Growing Place for doula services. Ginny and Regina met with us to plan out our birth experience. Hiring a doula was one of the best decisions we made to help with the birth of our first baby. We had SUCH a wonderful experience with Regina during the delivery of our baby girl. Her demeanor, personality and attentiveness made our birth experience so positive. We were so lucky to have her by our side as first time parents. Thank you to the Growing Place!

  Joy and Skyler were absolutely incredible in helping us through our labor and delivery experience. They immediately made us feel comfortable in meeting them, and were willing to answer all our questions during our pregnancy visits. This was our first baby and we wanted to try unmedicated, so we knew we'd need lots of help. Our labor was around 48 hours and let me tell you, they were //unbelievable//. Through constant hip compressions, breathing coaching, massaging, and all-around just keeping us calm and focused, Joy and Skyler were essential in helping us achieve our goal of an unmedicated birth. They went above and beyond (even providing snacks!) to guide us through every contraction. I wish every single mama could have the help of the doulas at The Growing Place.

Our Just in Time Services supply a laboring mother with five hours of last minute in person support from one of our on call birth doulas. Services start at $500, additional hours can be added for an hourly charge. These services do not include prenatal planning, pregnancy, early labor support, choice of doula, or postpartum support.
