  More than 10 years ago I landed at Dr. Gedroic's office, by the grace of God. I was a young mother of 4. I was plagued by fatigue, heart palpitations, night sweats, hair loss, shingles, the list goes on and on. After a year of pursuing medical specialists all trying to fit me into their particular area of expertise, I ended up desperate at the Mayo Clinic. I got nowhere. I was prescribed anti-anxiety medications that simply numbed me to the fact that my health was fleeting.
  Dr. Kristine Gedroic listened and saw connections all others had missed. As she restored me to health, she inquired about my children. I had to start with one. My son had been plagued with food allergies, night terrors, and learning issues. Thanks to Dr. Gedroic, he is now a healthy, allergy free, Division 1 college athlete with academic honors. To say she changed our lives for the better is a huge understatement.
  Dr. Gedroic treats her patients with kindness, compassion, and a brilliance that makes her the best in her field.

  15+ years of struggling (and many doctors who didn't or couldn't help) before I found Dr. Gedroic. She literally saved my life (and she has since helped my wife who was also not doing well, as well as both my children.) For me, I was progressively worse over years, and was rapidly headed toward disability due to what became severe cognitive issues. At 48, my collection of pathogens were many and toxicity was extensive (contrary to what many might say, she is not "all about Lyme"). My immune system was completely overwhelmed. It took a substantial discomfort and commitment (I felt worse before I felt better) on my part to follow protocols, dedicate time to treatments, and to focus on my diet, but in the first 3 months I felt a substantial relief of several of my worst symptoms. Since I saw such noticeable results, I resolved at that point to continue the process. For me it has been a long road and a few years, but I had many issues to resolve that took years to manifest as they did. Dr. Gedroic identified my many underlying problems, prioritized the order we would work on them, and made sense of each step. Your issues may be easier and fewer, or as difficult or worse than mine, but I am extremely confident in Dr Gedroic's approach. She is equal parts MD and Scientist, and also guided by her experience, humanity, and intuition as well as patient feedback. If you're expecting prescriptions to mask a symptoms, this is not your place. If you are committed to taking an active role in resolving the underlying issues that have made you feel unwell, Dr. Gedroic is the one you should work with. To set fair and realistic expectations, the office in general is less than ideal, so be prepared. But in my opinion its worth powering through that. It's likely not going to be easy, and it's expensive, but it is the only path (in our area) that I have found to true healing.
