(November 5, 2022, 12:48 pm)I found Nate to be very helpful and super courteous & nice. He helped me get a new hand-held blower that was barely under warranty (worked w/Husqvarna to get new unit). AND I did not buy that blower from Taft originally. Many shops don't wanna know you if you did not buy from them. Telephone calls and in person conversations were very good. I even bought a new string trimmer head while there. Nate showed me how to use it and was good about answering all my questions. This shop is a bit out of the way for me, I'd never been there before. But I would certainly go back.

(January 6, 2018, 2:09 pm)Toro shipped a small snow thrower to my house. A loose cable prevented me from using it. Pete at Taft was so helpful and was happy to text me a photo to see if I could repair from home. I needed more help and he took care of it at the shop in 15 minutes. Very good experience!

(January 16, 2013, 9:47 am)I bought a used snowblower that one of the owners fixed up and have had a fantastic experience. It was a 6hp old HomeLite for something like $250 - great price! The thing started up right away and he delivered it.When I first took it out it worked great for about 20 minutes, then the blades stopped. I called the guy and he came out right away, took the cover off and found that the outer belt spool had broken from it's weld...no way he could've known that was going to happen. He immediately loaded it into his truck, brought it back to his shop, re-welded it, and brought it back to me 20 minutes later.The snowblower has worked flawlessly since (bought it in 2008), always starts on the first or second pull (even after being idle all summer), and gets through everything I've pushed it through. Haven't done a thing maintenance wise expect put gas in, empty the tank and gas lines in the spring.I haven't had extensive interactions with these guys, and maybe they're not the most polished lot and a little gruff, but the value I got for $250 was outstanding.
