  This is a fabulous place! Always inventive and original, the owner, Carolyn Grifel, is a talented and creative classically trained chef who puts out a new menu every single week that capitalizes on what's in season. The menu ranges from all American classics (BBQ and chili) to Asian specialties (Vietnamese Banhn Mi's and sesame slaw) to European classics like Andalusian Gazpacho and delicious savory Galette's of all kinds. Her desserts are particularly inspired: Brown butter banana chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal sandwich cookies with mascarpone and elderberry filling are on the menu this week. You eat on her deck out back , or get your food to go and take a stroll in the beautiful hamlet of Halcottsville located on the Wawaka river. A phenomenal addition to this picturesque town!   I never leave reviews but this might have been the best meal I’ve had this year, and my partner agrees. The dishes are unique and absolutely incredible and the owner is awesome. 10/10, will probably end up taking an hour long detour later this month to come back

  Cannot tell you how many nights our dinners have come from Sweet Pea. Probably even more if it was open every day. Carolyn's offerings are diverse and there is always something for all kinds of diets. Plus, the store has the most unusual assortment of treats that you will not find anywhere else. We love Sweet Pea!

  Taking a trip to Sweet Pea Supply in Halcottsville is one of our favorite ways to enjoy a relaxing weekend. And if you're in search of outstanding local food options, put Sweet Pea at the top of the list You'll want to sign up for Carolyn's emails in advance to ensure you know what's on the weekly menu, but the selection of baked goods, soups, and sandwiches always hits the spot. Whenever the pork or beef chili is on the menu, grab it - it's one of the best you'll ever have.

  we are huge fans of Sweet Pea Supply Company, and stop by often when we’re upstate! Carolyn always has a delicious selection of sweet and savory baked goods and other dishes as well. soups + stews, BBQ and more. make sure to pick up dinner, lunch or a picnic spread from her soon!
