(September 2, 2023, 8:45 pm)Loved it!! amazing experience and a nice work out on the kayaks. great views of the great outdoors. we appreciated how he took his time explaing what is better in terms of what type of kayak to take. for a couple it was better with single kayaks rather than a double. i highly recommend it. if I could give 10 stars I would. it made my bday special!

The owner really helped us to get the most out of our experience when we went kayaking and we felt honored to be a part of a place that is so loved. We had so much fun, the nature and wildlife was beautiful, with a touch of live music, it felt like a little piece of heaven. 10/10 recommendation.

(July 24, 2023, 1:43 pm)Amazing place to enjoy nature away from crowds. We spent the whole afternoon there. You can take a stroll around the property fields and play disc golf. Or you can spend some time in picnic areas. They also have a lake access with approximately a mile long body of water where you can rent a kayak or a paddle board.

(June 29, 2023, 5:20 pm)This is a wonderful place to spend a few hours, especially with young kids. We spent an hour and a half cruising the lake in kayaks, and then another two hours or so walking the grounds wading and swimming in the stream. The folks who run it were super friendly and helpful, and everyone in our party - from 2 to 62 - had a great time. It's not wilderness kayaking by any stretch, but it was peaceful and we saw a number of turtles, a heron and other similar wildlife along the way. It's only a few minutes north of Margaretville, too, so pretty easy to find and close to where we are staying for the week. Definitely recommend!

(May 27, 2023, 8:37 pm)What a charming kayaking experience! Jim, who’ll most likely greet you as you emerge from your car, was gregarious and helpful! Truly passionate about the mom and pop operation he operates. Had a personal touch in weighing in on which kayaks are optimal for my wife and my needs! The body of water does run along a road which is a mild minus but that’s offset by the lovely beaver dams that run along the stream. Enjoy!
