  Doug & Crew were fast, friendly and took the time to explain all the ins and outs of ebikes to make sure we had a fun and safe trip to the Lighthouse today. Highly recommend them and we will certainly rent from them on our next trip! 😀

  Really great service here today. I got a flat 10 miles into my between Barnegat Light and Love ladies ride. I was close to my truck doing the circle so put my bike in my truck down to Surf City. I was half expected the old "pandemic attitude" that you get at so many places now ( I actually dread going places and spending money now just cause of all the hassle) but they were very friendly and assisted me immediately.
  I just had this rear tire flat fixed a few weeks ago at the other bike shop and wanted the Gator Treads. They did not have them at the other place, but Surf Buggy Bike Shop had the Gator Treads there. Doug was able to get my new tires on and a new tube ---had me back on the road in 5 minutes. Very professional. I was able to finish the rest of my ride ending to a great day! Thanks for being there, I really appreciated it. I will give you a call within the next week and check on that GT on order.
  
  * Wanted to add I went back today to have the GatorHarshell put on my bike.The shop ordered them for me and immediately installed them upon my arrival. I can't say enough good things about this shop. They really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Thanks again!! I had a great ride today!

  Bought a bike from here a few weeks back. The staff is knowledgeable. Prices were fair even for these Covid19 times where bikes are selling quicker than they can be stocked. The bike I bought does not come with a kickstand from the manufacturer which is crazy a 600$ bike doesn’t come with a kick stand. But the manufacturer is to blame not the store. I called the store a few weeks later and they gave me a kickstand for free. Great customer service. They answered all my questions before, during and after the purchase. Recommend this place based off customer service and fair prices.

  We will never forget our post wedding bike ride from our ceremony to our reception on a bike for two; Surf Buggy made this possible for us. They were so accommodating and made renting a breeze. Even the day after the wedding when we had to change the pick up, and we called their shop a tad hung over and frazzled- they said they would take care of everything and not to worry about the decorations we had left on it. We would recommend them hands down for all or any rental needs, and to all of the brides and grooms out there a bike ride for two is the perfect touch to your wedding- trust us!
