  Great place to walk along the Salmon River. The state needs to do a little work there, better signage to show where the entrance to the park is, and better signage and trail markings. Also, open up the parking area so you can drive in further. Otherwise, the first part of your hike is on pavement.

  This is a nice area to dog walk or talk a hike. The path is mostly level and portions wind through the now defunct Sunrise Resort - Frank Davis Resort. In their era these parks were considered top tourist destinations. During the late 1980's tourism wound down and subsequently the state purchased the open space. After a few years of disrepair the state demolished all but the most historic buildings.

  A nice place to walk the dog. This is the site of a former summer resort. The existing structures have largely been torn down. The state owns this property now and it is primarily a place where people walk their dogs. In the summer there is some kayaking which takes place along the Salmon River.
