(May 17, 2022, 11:12 am)The Davison Memorial Walking Park is a short uphill hike that leads to a pretty view. The picnic tables at the top are nice and the kiosk has some cool information that’s worth a read. the actual hike itself isn’t anything special but if you want to have lunch or something, the picnic tables at the top of the Davison Property are a great place to do it! you can also look for the geodetic markers which is interesting as well. Over the summer it can get overgrown so make sure to check for ticks afterwards! Overall, a decent hike! :)

(December 30, 2020, 9:19 pm)The Davison Memorial Walking park is a hidden gem of East Haddam. The hike is short and mostly uphill, but it provides the fastest view anywhere in town. At the trail base is a kiosk detailing the history of the site and is worth a read. The picnic tables and benches are a nice touch too! Definitely recommend this park for history enthusiasts or those looking for a short hike!
