  A gem! This is a peaceful, wooded trail through a historic property with beautiful gardens and trees alongside a gorgeous mansion. It’s well worth the visit!

  Visited Stonleigh after a visit to close by Jenkins Arboretum. I grabbed a garden passport and found the two were close . The volunteer staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and clearly proud of this beautiful property. It wasn't crowded as I went on a week day. A large yard surrounds the main mansion and off to the left beautiful interesting garden areas within the big property. Absolutely a peaceful surprise!

  Ever wanted to know what properties in Villanova feel like, like you live there, enjoying their yard. Well Stoneleigh does that and more. The garden is open from 10am to 5pm and to tour the house, a reservation is needed. Otherwise, nice span of gardens, a fountain, two picnic tables, and restrooms.

  This place is so tranquil. It’s a short gentle walk and is completely paved. No incline or decline, as in literally 0 feet of change.
  
  Lots to see here and is easily accessible with plenty of parking for a relaxed stroll. When I was here they had a plant sale going on.
  
  There are also picnic tables available and restrooms.
  
  Best time to visit is now, early/mid May, early June, and early November.

  Very beautiful and peaceful gardens. Look to spend about 1 hour - 1.5 hours here if you would like to see everything. Went on a beautiful day, on this particular day the park was very quiet and peaceful. Good parking and friendly staff. Free! If you are interested in looking in the home, a reservation must be made.
