  Beautiful Church sitting in Carbondale. Has great parishioners and an excellent Pastor who is truly open to speak with. I personally feel it's run right and reminds me of how All the Parishes were, 50 years ago. The Parishes closed its a sin to say we don't have enough people that worship God, or fear Him in the 21st century. I believe Timothy mentioned the end of times is near when mankind worry more about what they like and what they want to do than what God has written as our commandments.

  St. Rose Church is a nice, little church. When you're walking in, if you look to your right, there is a big rectangular block made of some sort of stone, possibly granite. Well, that is actually a tomb. It holds the body of the parish's inaugural priest! I think it's cool. And if you walk across the street, there is a little grove where people go to pray. Another nice touch for St Rose. But the one thing I don't like about it is the whole parking mess. They don't have a big parking lot. But that's because St. Rose was constructed in 1832, obviously a lot of people didn't have cars back then. They just walked to church. So as Carbondale grew, the parking lot for St. Rose unfortunately didn't. So there you have it. Tiny parking lot. Thanks for reading.

  Received strength and focus for my day. The scriptures today talked about deliverance and the authority of Jesus over evil. One thing that stayed with me from Fr. Jim's homily was not to repay evil for evil.
