  Great park! My 5 year old son love's the NEW playground! It is really nice and clean! A section of the climbing part is ment to resemble a whale I believe! It's pretty nice, but if your child isn't an experienced climber, then just be careful. They have a new age round about that's level with the ground, unlike how they were back when I was a child. There are different kinds of swing's, but I didn't get a picture of them. Also they still have the water spray park there. That hasn't been updated, so only 1 of the 2 water sprayers works. The ground where the water fall's is all cracked and has dirt and weeds/grass growing through. But as long as you have a pair of flip flops or water shoes on its not too much of a problem. All in all it's a very good park to go to!

  The largest recreational field in Holyoke, uneven in some grassy areas and semi regularly mowed. The children's playground has been recently expanded and renovated and has a beach volleyball court, a basketball court and a splash pad Springdale park is ideal for families of all walks of life.
