  I would strongly recommend Ms. Sandy and Speech & Reading Academy! She was a huge help to my son, who had a speech delay. She gave us the tools to get him to start talking and strengthen his jaw tone even though he was only 2 when we started (so not the easiest to get to sit still and do tasks). We are so happy with his progress! It was also very easy to get in touch with Sandy and she was always very flexible.

  I strongly recommend Speech and Reading Academy. Sandy is the best! She has been such a great help to my son. She gives us homework and keeps us informed on his progress. And she's sooo patient with us when we have questions. He now uses her techniques to control his voice when his talking. I feel so happy when I see him doing that. Thank you Sandy!   Sandy has been a great help to my son. She is always available to answer my questions. She has taught my son different techniques to help him control his vocals. She also tried to involve the family members which is part of the therapy. Sandy is a great therapist with a lot of patience who always takes the extra time to answer questions and discuss the progress of my son.

  My daughter has been attending Speech and Reading Academy for over a year and in that year she has learned a great deal from Ms. Sandy. Ms. Sandy's patience, knowledge, guidance and expertise has made my child love to learn , read and enjoy school. Ms. Sandy taught her a unique way that my daughter is able to utilize her new learned knowledge in her school work. Due to her attendance the Speech and Reading Academy her reading level and comprehension has improved greatly. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the results and services. I very strongly recommend Speech and Reading Academy for any student!

  Speech therapist and reading professional all in one! Sandy is professional yet approachable! She is very eclectic and pulls from so many programs to make therapy tailored and very effective for your child. She also helped us through the IEP process, which was over whelming. My family highly recommends her as she is very straightforward with her recommendations so you know exactly what you are getting, she also has flexible hours!
