  Recently put my 93 year old mother at Southern Ocean Center/ Genesis. It was a tough decision, but we could no longer adequately take care of her. Patty and all the nurses and staff at Southern Ocean made us feel so welcome! The facility is clean, comfortable and very efficiently run. Food is good and many activities for the residents. The friendly staff and clean atmosphere helped us feel we made the right decision. Highly recommend it !

  I heartily recommend the Genesis Healthcare Rehab Facility on Rte 72 in Manahawkin.
  The care I received was exceptional! The PT/OT therapists were so helpful in showing me how to strengthen myself and prepared to go home following surgery. The entire staff, from administrators to nursing and aids, were courteous and truly interested in their patients’ well being.
  The facility was very clean and anyone entering the building was tested for COVID. Masks were worn by all in any hallway and public space.
  To sum it up, I highly recommend the Genesis Facility and call it “the rehab with heart” because they really care about all their patients.

  We were very pleased with the level of care from administration right down to the workers who made my husband's stay good. I would highly recommend your facility for care.

  My son was admitted yesterday so I don't have much experience here yet but I can say the nurses and aides have been attentive to his needs. The physical therapy people have been in to evaluate his needs and are working up a plan. He said his breakfast and lunch were very good so no problem with the food.
