  Overall a great indoor water park that checks off all of the boxes. It's not as far away as some of the other indoor water parks from Long Island (although it's still a ride away at a little over 2 hours). Hotel is newer. Rooms and common areas are nice and very clean and present well. As for comparing the water park areas of Kartrite to some of the other closer ones in PA, Kartrite is the smallest, and here are some specific observations: (1) There aren't as many big slides, (2) there isn't a wave pool, (3) the little kid area is very small. For me though Kartrite was perfect in terms of water attractions. Outdoor pool is available when it's nice outside. Flowrider body surfing was cool. About 5 big slides, all were great. Overall, if you are going with older teenagers, you may want to choose one of the larger indoor water parks. But if you have kids 8-13, this should be perfect.
  
  One last note, we had a cabana on the mezzanine area. Although that was a nice touch, I wouldn't recommend it on a very hot day since it was very hot on that second level even with the fan blowing and not as enjoyable. Would instead recommend a cabana on main level.

  Our kids loves the whole experience. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms big. Alex at the ropes coarse was very kind to my little ones and helped them with lots of patience.

  This place was fantastic with the water park and room size. We stayed a full week and had to ask for towels and paper products. For the price, we thought the food service at the buffet and the dining hall should have been better. At the end of our stay, we found that someone had charged a dinner to our room five minutes after we had ordered our meal. We let the front desk know and was told a manager would call us back, but four days later, we were charged for the meal. We have been calling the Kartrite with either no one picking up or them answering our call, then pretending that they can't hear us after we explain why we are calling or they say the manager will call us back. We are still waiting!!!

  Lifeguards & staff were amazing at staying alert and making sure children and adults were following rules and staying safe. Even on the weekend with a larger crowd, it didn't feel chaotic. The rooms were nice and spacious. Only downside were pillows, so bring your own if pillow support & cleanliness is important to you.

  Great place to bring kids for a mini vacation. Not many food options on property but a lot of variety only a mile away. The rooms were spacious with a great view of the courtyard. The hours for the water park would be better if they were earlier than 11 and if the arcade was open earlier, but other than that, it was a great place for 2 days.
