What a pleasure to deal with a honest straightforward auto mechanic. I walked into the shop thinking I needed a motor mount and was told I did not. Turns out it was something else I was able to correct. But just knowing I didn’t get robbed for a $500 job I did not need and instead received a needed oil change made my day. I highly recommend South Riverdale Auto Service! .
The most honest auto mechanic I have ever dealt with in my long life. Another shop nearby insisted that I must do an emergency replacement of my breaks and that the rotors are worn. It took some convincing for that shop to let me go because my life was in danger of brake failure if I drove out without replacing the entire system. I promised that I would return after my appointment with the doctor. I drove the car to South Riverdale Service and Bruce checked my brakes. Behold, nothing was wrong with my breaks. I'm there now doing the 50,000 mile service.
I have had great experiences here. They are so honest and reasonably priced, the two most important qualities in a mechanic. I trust them completely and will keep coming back.
