  If you're skiing for a few days or just looking for a place to stay in the area, and you're a no frills/on a budget kind of person, this is the place for you. It's got even more than I needed - I barely used the kitchen at all. There's definitely an old school roadside motel vibe (think Schitt's Creek), the furniture is fairly old, and the tv in the room was a top of the line model in 1993. But who cares? Kinda charming if you ask me.
  
  Ken, the owner, is very accommodating and friendly - even helped to shovel out my car after 7 or 8 inches of snow overnight.

  It a nice rustic place to stay. It’s not a 5-star hotel, but for the price and the service , I definitely recommend this place to stay. And not to mention, it was warm (Jan 1)

  It is a super great and cozy hotel! The location is great as it is located close to trails and a short drive to Phoenica. We loved the fire pit outside, perfect for a cool October night! Ken, the owner is very nice and made us feel at home. We will definitely come back!

  Stopped for the night at this comfortable motel. The owner was very nice, gave us tips on finding the best colorful foliage in the area as well as restaurants. Knows the area well. The room has a kitchen included which was a nice feature. It’s not new or modern but it was clean and had a retro feel to it which I loved!

  A very homey, retro motor court–style motel! The owner, Ken, is a great guy and is hugely helpful in giving advice to folks new to the area. Fantastic location, small, very friendly place with a great fire pit! Pet friendly! I more than loved it - good value for money also!
