  The Ship Lantern Inn on Route 9W in Milton, NY is a charming and welcoming establishment that feels like stepping back in time. The old world decor adds to the ambiance and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends.
  
  The standout dish of the night was the Caesar salad, which was made fresh tableside and was full of flavor. The scallop special with leeks was also excellent - the scallops were perfectly cooked and the leeks added a wonderful depth of flavor. The fresh bread served with a tasty tomato tapenade was a great addition to the meal.
  
  To top off the meal, we shared a delicious apple crisp for dessert. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal, and our server made great recommendations for dishes and drinks.
  
  Overall, I highly recommend the Ship Lantern Inn for anyone looking for a charming and enjoyable dining experience. The fresh and flavorful dishes, attentive service, and old world charm all contribute to a wonderful night out.

  Fantastic place. A classic menu with well prepared and presented dishes. The staff is well trained and provided us with excellent service. We will be back for sure.

  We had a very nice dinner here. The staff is very professional and wears formal attire. The menu is very luxurious and perfect if you feel like spoiling yourself. There was a wide selection of drinks as well. I wanted to come here for a long time and it exceeded my expectations. I’ll be back for sure !

  Have been wanting to try this place for a long time. Restaurant week was a great time to try it, appetizer and entree were great. Braised short rib was amazingly tender, and the risotto was fantastic! The dessert was good, but wasn't a traditional apple crisp. The cappuccino paired perfectly and was one of the best I've had. Definitely worth a visit, and we will be returning to try more of their regular menu.
