  Susan is a fantastic host. The rooms are inviting, cozy and spacious. The breakfasts are delicious.

  First visit. Susan, the owner, was incredibly accommodating. My daughter and I were planning on going over Memorial day weekend, but my daughter got COVID at the last minute. Susan did not charge any fee and we rescheduled the trip for this weekend. We felt so very welcome. The entire lodge is is carefully decorated and homey. I had never felt so welcome at a b and b. Susan's breakfasts are worth the price of admission! I had a car emergency and Susan was more than accommodating. I highly, highly recommend staying at the lodge. We will be back!

  Hi! I stayed here with my mom and sister and had a wonderful experience. Susan was so accommodating with providing a rollout bed(my sister was a VERY last minute addition). I love the community of people staying at the lodge as it is a bed and breakfast. Along with starting bonfires, spotting a bear, and over breakfast conversations, this place is a wonderful way to get away from the busy and hectic city life. Susan cooked an amazing breakfast/brunch with different menus everyday, I think if I were eating this out at a restaurant it would at least be valued at $30 a person. I loved learning about the lay of the land and hearing all the crazy stories of the Berkshires. Even if you want to keep working, the common spaces and wifi are all great with excellent AC for the hot summer months!

  The Sheffield Lodge offers a beautiful and exceptionally comfortable getaway in the Berkshires.
  Nestled in the wooded hills of Western Massachusetts, within close proximity to some great hiking trails and fabulous eateries in Great Barrington, this was the perfect spot to spend my weekend while visiting New England.
  With an EXCEPTIONAL brunch served every morning, a warm, welcoming host and all the comfort one could ask for, I look forward to staying here the next time I am in the area.

  We cannot speak more highly of our experience at Sheffield Lodge. Susan is a top notch hostess. She was gracious and attentive from the moment we booked when I called the lodge. She warmly greeted us when we arrived for our stay, gave us a tour, and tried to ensure that any special needs we might have would be met. The accommodations were wonderful. We stayed in the Greylock suite and it was cozy and comfortable. We loved the views of the beautiful, wooded grounds. We stayed two wonderful and relaxing nights. Each morning,
  Susan greeted us in the dinning area with fresh brewed coffee, a wonderful assortment of hot teas and beverages, and a 5-star, three course breakfast. Her cooking and the presentation was truly amazing. She was also so very informative about the area, local activities and eateries and her recommendations did not disappoint. I write this review as we are headed home, already looking forward to returning to Sheffield Lodge.
