  Everything was delicious and came out quickly. We ordered eight items and waited maybe 15 minutes before dish after dish came out. The pork soup dumplings were one of our favorites. The mapo tofu was also amazing. The other dishes: spicy chicken dumplings in peanut sauce, shrimp shumai with minced pork, Szechuan beef, and kung pao chicken were also yummy. Between the speed and quality of the food, we had no complaints. Even with all the dishes, we only spent around $25 a person which was also a pretty good deal.

  During a recent dining experience at Shanghai Bun, we had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes. While our expectations were high, the overall experience left us with mixed feelings. While the food was decent, we couldn't help but feel that we have had better meals from them in the past.
  
  The selection of dishes we ordered was extensive, encompassing various flavors and textures. However, despite the diverse array of options, we found the overall execution to be average. The flavors lacked the distinct punch and authenticity that we had come to expect from Shanghai Bun. While some dishes were satisfactory, they failed to leave a lasting impression.
  
  One area where Shanghai Bun fell short was consistency. While we have had exceptional meals at this establishment in the past, this particular visit did not live up to our previous experiences. It left us longing for the exceptional flavors and culinary craftsmanship that we had come to associate with Shanghai Bun.
  
  Despite the disappointing food experience, it's important to note that the service at Shanghai Bun was friendly and attentive. The staff members were courteous and promptly attended to our needs. However, we feel that the overall dining experience relies heavily on the quality of the dishes served.
  
  The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, offering a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The traditional decor and comfortable seating created a suitable setting for a relaxed meal. The noise level was moderate, allowing for conversation without overpowering background noise.
  
  In conclusion, our recent dining experience at Shanghai Bun was average, leaving us with mixed feelings. While the service was commendable and the ambiance enjoyable, the food fell short of our expectations. We have previously had better meals from Shanghai Bun, which leads us to believe that this visit may have been an exception rather than the norm. We hope to see improvement in the future, as we know the potential for exceptional flavors exists within Shanghai Bun's kitchen.

  Excellent food! The service was slow because there were a lot of deliveries that staff were dealing with and a lot of guests. Besides the business, the food was great and very filling. The specialties can feed more than one person.

  Saw good reviews and wanted to get some good Chinese food (not the Americanized generic options). This place did not disappoint! The food was really good! We ordered the classic beef noodle soup, eggplant with minced pork, and sesame chicken. All items had great flavors and quality. Other items on other people’s tables looked really good as well!

  Awesome food! Great portions and great food! Their soup dumplings, fried pork, fish, and other entrees were delicious! They offer a lot of meat for the price it costs, and the aroma is hypnotizing. A great option if you're looking for an Asian take out place.
