  I've been studying harmonium lessons with Seth for 2+ years, right before the pandemic started. When in-person lessons stopped Seth began to teach me on-line. This was a new experience for me and I had no idea what to expect. Fast forward, I continue to study with Seth weekly in his Harmonium & Kirtan drop-in class as well as privately. His classically trained skills are evident each time we connect - he's super knowledgable about music theory and voice, and is able to easily translate it in a practical way to the harmonium and every new chant he teaches me. I never feel the distance between us and know that I'm getting the same experience on-line as I would in-person. As a yoga and meditation teacher, his love of Yoga, ALL aspects of Yoga, come through. Seth combines his technical knowledge with yoga philosophy which is super important for me. He's helped deepen my knowledge of Hindu deities, sanskrit, the yoga sutras and bhakti. He does this with an open heart and with grace. The influence that Seth has had on me thus far has been tremendous. When I play and chant, I'm able to let go of what's on the page, be in the mantra and feel the devotional aspect. That would not be possible without Seth's guidance. Over time, I've become a more confident harmonium player, but more importantly, I'm able to understand why I practice and how I want to be in this world. I'm so thankful we found each other.

  Seth is a truly remarkable, unique teacher. His enthusiasm and love of yoga and its teachings permeate his classes; besides his deep understanding of anatomy and scripture, Seth is an incredibly kind, patient, caring teacher. His classes are full of learning and laughter, and inspired me to take my first teacher training a few years ago. As a student, you feel like Seth really sees what’s going on in the body, and (importantly) knows how to help! I would also highly recommend studying music with Seth; again, you get to be around someone who is classically trained, loves and understands kirtan and Indian devotional music, and wants to share the joy of making music with you.

  Seth is a gifted music teacher!! I hated the way my voice sounded and felt terrified about singing alone in a private lesson but Seth made me feel safe and comfortable. I learned so much and see an enormous change in just 3 sessions. Thank you for helping me find my voice Seth, Jai Ma ♥
