It's good for his body and his mind, and this area is so lucky to have this option available! Jared, Erika, and Trin are the best and most compassionate people.

(May 9, 2023, 10:21 am)My 12 year old attends Scrub scraps. Without going into detail she has been through what nobody should go through loosing her father at a young age and now her grandfather. Add on all the stressers that these kids have today especially bullying. I have seen so much growth out of her from just the few sessions she's had with Jared and his team. It's like a therapy session for all of us. She opened up really quick to the people she didn't know. It definitely is a wonderful program. Words can't explain how it works, it just works. It's a definitely must try and see for yourself. It a wonderful mind and body experience all around.

(April 23, 2023, 9:11 am)In my search for a therapeutic outlet for my 17 year old daughter, I was fortunate enough to discover Scrub Scraps located in Coventry, CT. Although I went there for my daughter, she was not able to come to my first meeting with Jared. As I entered the gym, I was greeted by Jared, the owner. He was welcoming and attentive as I described our situation and what I was looking for. What happened next was unexpected. As Jared and I talked a little about his background and experiences he wrapped my hands, helped me put on gloves and I stepped in the ring for the first time. I knew from that moment that this was going to be a life altering experience for me. I may not be the typical demographic for a boxer but Jared made me feel welcome anyway. I have personally gone about 6 times and every time I feel stronger , capable, confident and more in control of my life! My daughter has been twice and loves it! I can’t

(February 28, 2023, 11:28 am)So much positive can be said about a family like Scrub Scraps. Thats right i said family, even though it's the very first of it's kind boxing and treatment program and facility, you leave them feeling like family! Someone i love and care about very much entered the program with hopes of finding an outlet to help literally fight some hard battles he was mentally and physically fighting. Without the help of this program and people like Jared Jones and his wife Erika Jones, he would not have succeeded. He's successfully battled those demom now for 4 years, and his life has never been better. Can't thank Scrub Scraps enough for what they did for our family, the community is so fortunate to have him and his skills! Looking forward to see what the future holds for the scrub scraps next chapter! 🙂
