  We hosted a rehearsal dinner in the private dining room on Thursday, June 8th, and it was beyond perfect. The food was delicious and the room was so very lovely. James and his staff were cordial and professional and so willing to please us. We could not have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our son and his bride. Thank you, James.

  I went for lunch with my family. We ordered the seafood tower, salads, peas fries were fun, tacos were great, shrimp and grits were ok shrimp was overdone. Desserts were the right size and tasteful.
  The service was on point very attentive. Beautiful atmosphere.

  Beautiful setting with the Long Island Sound in walking distance. I came from Maryland yesterday to have lunch with my mom and sister and drove directly to the Sandbar.
  Everything about our experience was delightful. My sister and I had the mahi mahi tacos and my mom had your burger(she loved the bacon onion marmalade and took some home to dip the leftover french fries into).
  We all agreed our meals were fantastic. I do not normally have french fries with lunch. I usually have a vegetable. Your french fries are exactly how I like them. I am very glad I had them. Service was outstanding. Food was amazing and beautifully presented . Our server, Juan, and the Assistant to the Restaurant manager, Nile, were very attentive. We would definitely come back, especially to try something new, hopefully when the weather is warmer. Thanks for everything.....

  Excellent atmosphere, exceptional service staff, good food, hit or miss seafood, sometimes Excellent amazing fish and chip, sometimes soggy not fresh taste and aroma fish and chip / cod, better to go for brunch and some adult drinks. Notably amazing appetizers

  I just used the private room at the Sandbar for my mother's surprise birthday party and can't say enough wonderful things about my experience. They worked with me to create the perfect menu where everyone was raving about the food. I was able to decorate the room exactly how I wanted it and they even provided a birthday message to my mother on the menu. Check out the pictures. The women had such a great time that many of them were supposed to leave to attend another party commitment but ended up staying to the end. The staff was incredible, accommodating and made this process as easy as possible. It was a group of 17 women and a fantastic experience. I recommend them for private events and would definitely use The Sandbar again. Thank you!
