I started working with Coach Alli after completing her run a mile faster challenge. Her program was great! Through her program, I learned that your body is definitely capable of doing more than you think and that running is definitely mental as well. I’ve heard that saying before, but after doing the challenge, I realized just how much your mind plays a role. She also encouraged the use of mantras, which again, helps with the whole mental aspect of running. Coach Alli is great! She truly wants the best for her athletes and focuses on the whole runner not just your running ability!
I’ve been working with Coach Alli almost 6 months now and she is amazing! Every program is catered to you and adjusted as needed. She is incredibly helpful, supportive & motivating. I would recommend her to anyone. Whether you’re just starting or like me have done a few marathons but want to take things to the next level!
just started working with Alli. so far so good! she's great. we had an initial intake session to discuss my experience and my goals, then we had a 1-1 session where she watched me run and gave me tips for improving my gait and stride mechanics. she created an individualized training program for me and I'm really excited about it!! she's knowledgeable, motivating and nice, and focused on smart effective training. I've been a runner for years, and I just started working with her, but already I can feel my running improving from her coaching.
Where to begin! Well, I guess it first starts with a simple Google search trying to find a running coach in the NYC area to help me train for my first marathon. And I am SO glad that I found Alli. She is heaven sent. She has worked with me at my lowest fitness point and brought me up to a level of fitness that I haven’t had in years. I now understand the WHY behind the training that I do. She is inspirational, positive and it’s contagious. I am motivated by her dedication to her profession and the joy that she emits every day. It’s really been a blessing to work with her, and I enjoy every curated workout that she provides for me. She just simply gets it! :)
Immediate long-lasting results.
I have met with Alli pretty early on in my running journey. I have ran for about a year and completed 10 shorter distance races and one half marathon. She was extremely quick to address my goals, while making them achievable yet challenging. My dream was to run my first marathon I had coming up shortly after I started training with her without walking and injury free - SUCCESS! We also established an A race for the year that we are currently training for and I am a 100% sure she will help me achieve my goal, which is a Boston Qualifying time.
Not only is she excellent at creating just the right intensity of a program, but she also has been a tremendous support when it comes to the mental aspects of running. I rarely give up, but sometimes I am unsatisfied with my performance - she’s always very reassuring and helps me look at the positive side of things, while keeping me focused on the bigger goals. Alli also constantly reminds me about the importance of rest within a training block - something I’m terrible at since I like to go hard 😅.
I couldn’t look for anything else in a coach - she’s kept me disciplined, motivated, excited and optimistic to achieve my pretty big running goals for this year, all that injury free while having lots of fun!
Bonus points: she’s also very well versed in running nutrition and strength training, when training she will provide you with all the information about different aspects of performing at a high level.
