This review is long overdue, but I could not recommend Dr. Bazzini enough. In the height of COVID I had an accident where I severed a tendon in my finger. Scanning through the list of hand surgeons covered by my insurance, 10-15 doctors declined to see me despite the urgent nature of the injury. When I called Dr. Bazzini's office, the receptionist at first sounded hesitant, asked me to hold, and came back on the line with the good news that they would stay late to see me on that same day (she was incredibly kind). Dr. Bazzini took his time to thoroughly explain my injury, the surgery, and defined what my expectations should be following the procedure both in terms of recovery and the mobility I should expect to regain (about 80%). On procedure day Dr. Bazzini was immediately comforting, and when I woke from the surgery he was in the room to give me the run down, explained the success of the procedure, and reiterated the next steps. After some dedicated physical therapy, my recovery blew the 80% projection out of the water and most often I can't even tell it was ever injured in the first place. Hopefully you never need a hand surgeon, but if you do, you would be lucky to work with Dr. Bazzini and his lovely office staff.
Dr. Bazzini is such a great doctor. He explained in full detail to my mother what her issue is. She was very pleased and felt at ease that he took his time to elaborate. Most doctors rush and don’t take the time to do so. Thank you Dr. Bazzini!
I was referred to Dr. Bazzini from another orthopedic doctor. She handles ankles, feet, not hands.
I have a cyst on my finger. Dr. Bazzini was very thorough in explaining why the cyst forms, how it affects the physiology of my finger and why I had it longer than I thought I did. He used medical terminology, but also explained what it meant in layman's terms. I appreciated learning the proper words for what is going on with my hand.
He explained the surgery in detail, down to the sites for the local anesthetic.
His office staff was also quite friendly and helpful. You are sent the documents they need prior to the appointment. Fill them out if you can before the appointment. It makes things smoother for the appointment. Remember to give your insurance card and photo identification (such as a driver's license) to them when you arrive. They will need them.
Overall a pleasant experience.
Seen Dr. Bazzini For wrist pain, he diagnosed it right away . I went in for surgery, my wrist feels 100% now. He is an amazing man, and his bedside manner is extremely nice, makes me feel very comfortable. I would recommend him highly. Plus he is a great surgeon.
I went to Dr Bazzini in May for a second opinion with my carpal tunnel situation. What an extraordinary doctor. He was great, the way he explain detail by detail the surgery, the process before and after, what to expect, how to manage my recovery. I felt that he highly care for his patients, his caring and knowledge was amazing... in addiction Jeane had been wonderful, she is gold. Tomorrow is my surgery and I know I will be fine if I have Dr. Bazzini next to me... Highly Recommended.
