I don't even know how to begin talking about our gratitude for this doctor's office. We have two children. AdvoCare is our third pediatrician and our last!
The first office felt like a factory, extremely impersonal. The second office was extremely small, but at some point it became clear to us that their standards of care were getting a little outdated.
AdvoCare is just right, everything we could have hoped for for ourselves and our kids. I know that sounds a little over-the-top but we are genuinely grateful. They actually saved us from making a potentially bad medical decision (based on a former pediatrician's advice) for a newborn baby.
We feel comfortable taking our children to any doctor there, they're all personable and knowledgeable. We can always get an appointment same day. We have almost never been kept waiting for a long time.
And the office staff is incredible. They are so well organized. We have had to deal with insurance company nonsense and the staff has just been amazing and so experienced helping us figure out how to sort through the insurance company junk. They really truly went above and beyond to help us.
We also really love that they have embraced technology in a big way. Although it can be a little bit of a downer that the doctor has to sit there and type on the computer during the visit, the end result is that you have a great record of your visit and very clear instructions about what you need to do next. When you're harried and you've got way too much on your mind taking care of kids and work, it's really good to be able to go home with a written record of what happened at the doctor's office.
The only drawback that we really need to mention is that there is no blood draw apparently on the premises. That means that every time you need to get blood taken you're off to the lab. We really wish that at least they could draw the blood in the office.
Long story short, we cannot recommend this doctor's office highly enough. Parenting is hard, but at least we can rest easy that we know our kids are in good hands with our pediatricians and amazing staff. That's worth a lot.
