They allowed our Girl Scout troop to visit and learn about the house as well as the role seeing eye dogs play to enrich the lives of the people they help. My daughter, wife and I took a lot away from this visit.

It was once written in the Monroe Gazette on April 4 1968, "whether the name "Rest Haven" will have future significance, or simply become a part of Monroe's history, is the question" to be answered. Well, on March 23 2017, this question will be answered. Rest Haven's long awaited recognition to her contribution to society as an Adult Home Residence for the Blind, Disabled and etc will become the next milestone as an historical site in Monroe New York.
