  Myself and my partner recently moved in. Cons: 1. Renovation is substandard. It seems that the "renovations" were rushed as numerous inadequacies were present throughout the apartment. To name a few of the inadequacies: 1a. Could feel the staples under the carpet. 1b. The toilet was not attached to the floor, so I found this out while cleaning the base of the toilet🙄. The toilet also began to leak. 1c. The kitchen cabinets smell like fried rice, are unleveled, and are obviously not new/replaced. 1d. There are gaps in the molding and trims. 1e. Washer had a clump of hair stuck in it. 1f. The dryer has blue stains, and after cleaning it out, I had half of a garbage bag of lint, hair, and dirt from it. Luckily, it does not stain our clothes, though. 1g. There are dips in the flooring. Feels like potholes at some point.
  Most of my complaints are due to the low-quality renovation. The apartment is presentable, but my expectations were high (which is my fault, apparently).
  2. If you have multiple cars, sometimes parking can be difficult.
  
  Pros: 1. I am impressed with the management and maintenance team, as they are responsive and professional. They fixed most of the shortcomings of the renovation but not all. The uneven floor, smelly cabinets, stained dryer, gapped trims, and molds are still present. But the fast response and consideration that they have is immaculate.
  2. The property is clean and beautiful.
  3. The residents are quiet and nice. The kids may be outside playing in the afternoons, but it's not disruptive, just kids having fun.
  4. The gym is well equipped and clean, and there is 24-hour access.
  5. The club house is gorgeous and clean!
  6. Luckily, I am on the 3rd floor, so no one is above me, and I don't hear footsteps.
  7. The pool is nice.
  8. They allow large dogs.
  9. The location is great. It's on top of a hill, so the noise is minimal, but it is also close to most of what you need. The supermarket, bank, parks, gas stations, restaurants, Starbucks, and the highways are all nearby.
  10. Giselle, the property manager, is great! She is patient and kind. She tries her best to accommodate everyone.

  I had a great move-in experience. The new staff is amazing and very friendly. One of the plus is the deep pool and fitness center.

  This is the best experience I've had in a rental. The Team including Ryan, Mia, and Mario are very responsive. They quickly cleared a path during the last snow storm and they recently re-paved my entire walkway and planted new grass. They are always updating the property and everyone is very friendly. I highly recommend Hillcroft Village.
